The Light-O-Rama ShowTime Sequencing Suite works on your personal computer running Microsoft Windows and allows you to design your own shows. We strongly suggest running your LOR data network at 500K Enhanced or faster when using Pixie4/8/16 controllers.ДЎ. You can run a Light-O-Rama regular network with any number of pixels/port up to 170, but the complexity of Light-O-Rama regular network commands may cause a lack of smoothness with more than 50В pixels/port. Compatibility (resolution/macros/color effects) mode is only supported for 50 pixel/port configurations when running on a Light-O-Rama regular network. Light-O-Rama regular network support is primarily for compatibility with old Cosmic Color Ribbon. Pixie4/8/16 controllers can be used on Light-O-Rama regular or enhanced networks at speeds from 19.2Kbps to 1Mbps. More pixels on a port requires power injection that Light-O-Rama does not currently support. *Each Pixie4/8/16 controller port is fused at 4 amps and can typically power up to 100 pixels.

Appears in the ShowTime Sequencing Suite software as 4-16 unit IDs with up to 100 pixels/unit ID (300 channels per Unit ID).Simple LOR network connectivity no LAN required.

This arrangement simplifies prop storage, assembly and damaged component replacement.Д¬omplete systems are available including a controller, power supply, weatherproof plastic case and multiple ribbons, bulb or pixel strings. The pixels ribbons/strings are connected to these plugs which are then pushed into the connectors on the board. The controller is supplied with screw terminal plugs for each pixel port. Pixel controller pixel ribbon/string connector It responds to successive unit IDs to control pixel strings 2-4, 8 or 16. The controller is assigned one unit ID, which is the base unit ID. Sequences already written for the Cosmic Color Ribbon and Cosmic Color Bulb controllers can be used with this controller by changing the Unit IDs to align with the Pixie 4/8/16. It also supports Enhanced Pixel protocol for use with all the latest pixel support capabilities of our ShowTime Software Suite. The Pixie 4/8/16 controllers can be used with older sequences which do not use Enhanced Pixel protocol. LOR USB adapter to controller connection operating at up to 1Mbits/sec eliminates the need for a LAN. Each port can control up to 100 smart RGB pixels over a standard LOR network. Three different smart pixel controllers with either 4, 8 or 16 ports offer an economical, smart pixel controller designed for pixel artifacts like ribbon, bulb or pixel trees.
